Toyota Motors Inc said Avalon (2005 – 2010 models) and Sequoia (2009 – 2010 models) that have been sold in the Middle East markets were shipped from the USA markets which were subject to recall due to problems related to accelerator pedals.
In a statement addressed to the Middle East region, the company said the problem encountered by (Toyota) cars in North America, Europe and China will not possibly happen in the Middle East due to climate difference. However, the company is considering appropriate solutions for both models in the Middle East, it said
